Is it still necessary to send a second email to access@rt.laptop.org? It appears to have been removed from the instructions.

No, the current procedure is to send 2nd message to sysadmin@laptop.org. I have updated text to clarify. Hhardy 15:28, 31 March 2008 (EDT)
