About Me
My name is Avash Pandit. I am nineteen years old and currently live in Cardiff, Wales. I completed my A-Level examinations in June this year from Budhanilkantha School in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics and General Paper. - Currently Pursuing Bachelors in Law at Cardiff University, Cardiff
- Successfully completed my S.L.C examinations in 2006 from Budhanilkantha School
- Successfully completed A-Levels from Budhanilkantha School
Past Involvement:
- Preparing for deployment in Kapilvastu, a remote district in South Western Nepal, working on site for 6 weeks
- Working on localizing the Ubuntu Gutsy On OLPC XO for Nepal Deployment
- Working with other members of OLE Nepal on the NeXS, the nepali customized version of the OLPC XS school server
- Working on fixing problems of and creating additional features including the Nepali Keyboard on the NeXO, the nepali customized version of Sugar
- Working with Tony Anderson on making the BotSpeak Activity, an activity based on speak, that works as a bot and communicates with the user, replying to simple questions or remembering what the user has asked to reply
- Learning about the OLPC project as a whole
- Training other Interns
