Textbook Revolution Wiki Jam

We will be having a Wiki Jam (barnraiser) to help put in place all of the necessary components, pages, and design needed to relaunch the new wiki-based, and community oriented TextbookRevolution.org site. The site will be based upon semantic-mediawiki.org extension with the semantic forms plug-in, and will have a focus on bringing together the various free textbook projects out there by sharing metadata, using distributed annotation/review tools, and well, just opening up conversations and making and active effort to share when we can! For those not in the Boston area, you can join us on IRC in #textbookrevolution on irc.freenode.net.

This is a major step forward for the world of free textbooks, and we need your help in any way you can:

 * Data entry construction workers to build the site up!
 * Savvy designers willing to help make our templates and pages look great!
 * Masters of Ontology to help us make sure our semantic metadata is well formed!
 * Systems Administrators to make sure our server continues to hum speedily along!
 * Comedians and jokers to help keep things lively!
 * IRC friends to help keep things going so we can make a worldwide effort!
