A network scenario is a make-believe network that captures some essential features of some real-life network. Network scenarios are useful for describing thought experiments, creating simulations, and for devising appropriate live tests.

Typical features include:

  • quantity of nodes and of traffic generated by them,
  • link capacities, latencies, and error processes,
  • ...

These are our most important scenarios.
