  For the community

Please leave requests here for permissions on other wikis or sites. When requesting permissions, please include a signature or link to your userpage on this wiki. Leave the most recent requests at the top of the page. For other visitors, feel free to comment on requests for access. In general, a request from a trusted community member that receives no questions or opposition will be granted within 5 days. To find administrators to carry out these requests, or request administrator status for yourself, see administrators.

If requesting a teamwiki account, please:

  1. link to your userpage on this wiki with {{user|YOURUSERNAME}}
  2. make sure your account here has a valid email address (note: this is not publicly visible; but allows others with validated emails to send you a message)
  3. check that your userpage describes the work you are doing -- see for instance 1 and 2.
  4. make a team account with a valid email address.
  5. if the username you want is different from the one on this wiki, explain briefly why

Soon with team here we would be making deployment strategies for various regions across the country for the upcoming deployments arising the need for team wiki access.

Requests for bot status

  • Contribot (talk · contribs) - posting new contributors-program projects to the wiki. Requested by chris and ffm.
    Is there a reason for these edits to disappear from Recentchanges? Why else would the contribot need a bot flag? --Sj talk 19:07, 3 March 2008 (EST)
  • Mchuabot (talk · contribs) - something of a bot testbed for me; initial functionality will be using pywikipedia-based bot to work with (semantic) forms and templates for collecting/aggregating data from community testing Requested by Mchua.
    In principle this is fine. Please create a userpage for the bot describing what it does and who runs it (even though the name seems self-explanatory now :), and start using the bot without the flag. Note that the flag is only needed once the bot starts to make significant changes in a way that offbalances RC; as long as RC isn't overwhelmed, we don't need any bot flags at all. 18.85.19.210 08:07, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
conditional support -- Sure, but I insist that Mel document the 'domain' files for use with our mediawiki first. Seth 00:14, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
