OLPC IITR Chapter

OISC demonstrated the XO laptop at IIT Roorkee on 28th March 2008. The video of the presentation is uploaded at Google Video and can be viewed HERE. Since then the IIT Roorkee Chapter has been formed. Students of IIT Roorkee are willing to be a part of this revolutionary concept of developing a 100 USD laptop and making it accessible to the unprivileged lot of our country. The students can contribute in various ways as in they can develop new learning tools or softwares for use in the laptop.IITR chapter is also planing to give presentation on a massive scale to its students and in nearby colleges to spread awareness about this project.We require ideas and support of students for IITR OLPC chapter.Please pour in your ideas and suggestions which are cordially invited by us
