OLPC in Haiti
Last year we partnered with the IDB to send 13,000 XOs to Haiti, for the students and teachers in 60 schools. A number of the schools collapsed in the earthquake; we are waiting for news from the OLPC Haiti team and will update this page as information becomes available.
This summer we are sending OLPCorps volunteers to Haiti to help with the reconstruction, and they will be bringing XOs with them for additional schools.

If you have an XO that you can spare, please send it to "OLPC For Haiti" in Texas, whereupon they will be reflashed and sent to Port-au-Prince later this year.
Haitian Kreyol translation
Much of the Sugar User Interface and many activities have already been localized into Haitian Kreyol by the efforts of volunteers, but there is still work needed to keep up with the latest Sugar versions and new activities are being added all the time. If you can help, please register on the Sugar Labs / OLPC Pootle server and join the Localization mailing list to coordinate with other translators.
