Checks to make on an OLPC XO (XO-1, XO-1.5, XO-1.75, XO-4) being re-used.

charge the battery,
upgrade the firmware,
disable security, using the collection stick, then get a developer key,
run the hardware diagnostics,
set the clock,
install the operating system, see release notes,
clean the keyboard, touchpad, and display,
tighten the screws, check the battery latch,
test the wireless antenna.
