Secure reflash
'Secure reflash' is a mechanism for restoring an OLPC with unmodified firmware to factory defaults.
To perform a secure reflash, prepare a large USB key (>=512 MB recommended) by
- Formatting it with the FAT file system.
- Downloading two files - 'fs.zip' and 'osNNN.img' from the official images site
- Storing these two files, e.g. 'fs.zip' and 'os653.img' in the root (top-level directory) of the USB key
- Unmounting the USB key and, when safe, detaching it from your main computer and reattaching it to the XO
- Rebooting the XO and, as it begins to boot up, holding down all four right-hand-side game-pad keys
