About Me
My name is Chris Carrick and I just started at OLPC in late May 2008. I'll be working in the ILXO office through the summer to help connect and expand OLPC grassroots groups throughout the Chicago area as well as exploring alternative power generation possibilities for the XO. I'm a mechanical engineer by training, but an intensely interested in appropriate technologies, sustainable development, photography, human factors and ethnography.
