Introduction
A couple of years ago while working in Germany I encountered the Zither, a musical instrument that has deep roots in Bavaria and the surrounding Alpen countries. The music of the Zither is magical. Like me, many who have been entranced by the Zither take up the instrument to continually experience its ecstasy.
My passion for the instrument led me to create a web site for what I call Zitherist International.
Aside from the Zither I have been working with the non-profit e-business standards organization called RosettaNet. While in Germany I acted as their vice president of Europe. I also set up the Telecommunications Industry council, a work group within RosettaNet, that includes member companies like Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, BT, Sony Ericsson, Ericsson, Motorola, etc.
The XO is really a very good pedagogical tool. Negroponte's vision is seminal. My aim is to somehow make a small contribution to realize that vision, in part by adding to the wiki.
