Did You Know?

That this decade (2001-11) is the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World?

Nope. Didn't know that... thanks!
BTW, here's the link to the United Nations Resolution 53/25 saying so.--Xavi 20:49, 15 January 2007 (EST)

Country info tables

The general structure of that info is the following:

Data Sources
Most data has been compiled into OLPC Country Statistics (which in turn is basically a resume of the CIA Factbook plus the population data from a US Census DB) and the other source is Wikipedia.
Template:Country info
is a simple table that just displays the data (doesn't have all the fancy things found in Wikipedia) and it may be a bit of an overkill... but since nobody argued on the data/format... I didn't touch it.
Layout
Given the volume of data that just gets in the way when editing or updating the country page, the inclusion of the template is actually done a subpage (iow, the 'invocation' with all the parameters). You can find the page by doing ''country page''/Country info (ie: [[Rwanda/Country info]] results in this link which you can then edit freely.

Just a reminder (to remain consistent on the sources) is to put data found in OLPC Country Statistics. Since you said you wanted to put some population data from the CIA Factbook, I would say if you can't use the DB of the Census... --Xavi 17:07, 30 January 2007 (EST)
