XO Austin
Austin Area Jabber Collaboration Server (Experimental but Functional): opteron.9grid.us.
To setup your XO, open the terminal activity and type:
% sugar-control-panel -s jabber opteron.9grid.us
It will tell you how to reset your interface so it'll hook up to the new collaboration server.

Sat Feb 23rd 10:00am meeting at the Spicewood Springs library ([[1]])?
We had a nice time at the library and worked with both the Mesh Network and the Jabber server. Turns out, you can be on both at the same time.
We discussed http://www.girlstart.org in Austin starting a development effort for the XO and how we might be able to help by lending hardware. Anne Gentle will contact someone on staff at GirlStart to see how we can help.
We wondered aloud whether there will be an XO meetup at SXSW. Whurley is talking about a XO DevCamp at Austin Bar Camp but we weren't sure of the interest level or what could be done there. Ideas welcome.
Mikus mentioned a suspend mode and encouraged us to apply for developer's keys.
The kids had yummy cupcakes and some adults had their share as well.
