Recording and sharing their community history and cultural vibrance through stories, artwork, and music.
A very basic game they could potentially play for foreign language class: a scavenger hunt for teams of four. The teams are split into two individuals and a team of two.
1. One team member stays in a classroom where a map with the location of the classroom and a destination is marked on the board. That team member would type out directions (including distances) in a language they are learning (English or French) to another child using Chat.
2. The second child would use Record to record oral directions and send the file to the two remaining team members.
3. The team of two would follow the oral directions to reach the destination. They would have to use Distance to accomplish the task, measuring the distance between the two XOs to travel the right amount.
