Keur Sadaro, Senegal - School deployment

• Location: Keur Sadaro, Senegal (near Thies, Senegal)

Small scale deployment of approximately 50 XOs to the village of Keur Sadaro in Senegal. 20 XOs are already onsite, awaiting distribution. 30 more should be arriving in June 2009 with a team of students and teachers from two high schools in San Francisco, CA. The schools, Drew School and Lick-Wilmerding School, have been working on a series of service learning and development projects in the village for the past two years.

Wireless network and internet access are being very generously donated to the village by Bruce Baikie of Green-Wifi
