Objective Ensure that the XO can connect to a WEP AP and browse the internet.
Tools AP, with WEP encryption
Setup If you have run this test in the past or connected to a number of APs, it might be prudent to remove the network config file: rm /home/olpc/.sugar/default/nm/networks.config
Procedure # From the network neighborhood view, click on the access point with WEP (in our test environment this is 'canopy'
  1. When you are prompted for a password, choose 'Ascii' as the input method
  2. Type 'xoxoxoxoxoxox'
  3. Once the laptop connects to the AP, open Browse and search for something in google
Expected Results
and Pass Criteria
You should be able to connect and browse the web.
