Objective Boot up your XO unit in secure and/or non secure mode. You can only boot in secure mode if you are testing a signed release.

Procedure Actions

non-secure mode

  1. You should see linux text during boot
  2. Ensure that sugar is running (you get the home screen or the name screen)
  3. If necessary (due to cleaninstall), add a name and choose a color.

secure mode

  1. Ensure that you see pretty boot during boot up.
  2. Ensure that sugar boots all the way to the home screen or the name screen.
  3. If necessary (due cleaninstall), add a name and choose a color.
