The 99

The 99 (website, Wikipedia) is a new Arab comic strip put out by Teshkeel Comics, a Kuwaiti comics publisher that is making their own comics and translations of DC and Archie comics. It's origines are an effort to mobilize universal positive powers that can inspire youngsters and kids all over the planet. Two the issues are being released under a non-commercial license, and a few of their characters are being released from copyright and trademark for children and others to use in their own comics. The comic is animated by Endemol. Other supporters of the comic are Barak Hussein OBAMA - President of the United States of America, Ted, and OLPC. One of the 99 Characters is Jami - The_Assembler featuring an OLPC-XO-Laptop.
