I teach technology based curriculum at the Annie Wright School, a K-12 school in Tacoma Washington. Every student in our school from grades 6-12 is required to have and use a laptop computer on almost a daily basis. I first became interested in the OLPC project and the XO laptop when I was looking for other laptop programs on schools. Later I purchased an XO through the Give One Get One program in November of 2007. I am often on the jabber server at xochat.org as "The Wellington"
