I’ am a president of a non profit organization(AbeokutaclubUSA/Canada) based in Philadelphia PA USA. I’ am very interested in volunteering some time and effort for this project. Is there a way to access the user interface and/or the software for the laptop so that I could become familiar with both? I would like to serve as a volunteer trainer either for teachers or students involved with the project. I am not a programmer and speak yoruba and English, but I am a quick study, a good communicator, and interested. I travel to Nigeria a lot averaging twice a year. My background is accounting and criminal justice. This project will help a lot of kids in Africa especially in Nigeria, Abeokuta town where our main focus is. I would like to volunteer or apply for a non-paid position with the One Laptop Per Child program focusing in Abeokuta and throughout Nigeria so I can help these under privileged kids achieve their dreams..
