Activity Jam Melbourne/Schedule
The schedule for the Jam is under construction - a tentative schedule is posted below, and will be updated as the Jam grows nearer.
Friday, January 25
- 4pm - attendees arrive; mingling, getting settled
- 6pm - dinner, Introduction to the Jam
- 7pm - Kickoff! Work begins.
- 7-10pm - Attendee-run tutorials, discussions (optional)
Saturday, January 26
- 9-10am - Breakfast available
- 12-1pm - Lunch, 1-min stand-up presentations by teams on progress
- 5-7pm - Dinner available
- 7-10pm - Attendee-run tutorials, discussions (optional)
- Midnight - Hot Chocolate break (...lemonade, tea, coffee also available for non-chocolate fans)
Sunday, January 27
- 9-10am - Breakfast available
- 12-1pm - Lunch available
- 1pm - Teams begin setting up their test rooms
- 2pm - Judges (local schoolchildren and teachers) arrive
- 2-2:40pm - Judges orientation (judges only)
- 2:40-3pm - Judging kickoff (all attendees)
- 3-5pm - Judging!
- 5-7pm - Dinner available
- 6pm - Final ceremonies: Announcement of winners, presentation of projects (during dinner)
