Activity Upgrade

If the activity you wish to upgrade was pre-installed in the laptop, then follow this procedure:

1. Open a virtual terminal by pressing three keys at one time: Alt, Ctl, neighborhood mesh (3rd key from the left on the top row)
2. type: rm -r /usr/share/activities/Some.activity, where you replace 'Some.activity' with the name of the activity you wish to remove. You may need to find the exact name of the activity by first typing: ls /usr/share/activities to list all the activities.
3. Go back into Sugar by pressing these three keys at one time: Alt, Ctl, home (5th key from the left on the top row)
4. Reboot the laptop or Restart Sugar by pressing these three keys at one time: Alt, Ctl, Erase

If you installed the activity you wish to update then follow these instructions:

1. Resume the Journal and find the file download entry
2. Click on the download entry
3. Click on 'Erase'
4. Reboot the laptop or Restart Sugar by pressing these three keys at one time: Alt, Ctl, Erase

Now you can download the new version.
