Overview

Need
- Profiles
- Friends
- Groups (create, join)
- Group Bulletin Board
- Extensions to git, pootle, ProjectDB, etc.
- Event planning
- Location and interest awareness
- Localization
- Activity stream (a la FB)
- Wiki integration (don't duplicate info from Wiki, rather try to encourage people to link to respective wiki-pages)

- Community credits (Karma)
- Games (translation, development)
- Match-making
- Sock puppets

use G1G1 2008 announcement for big launch of community platform
slowly start introducing it to people on forum.laptop.org, olpcnews.com/forums and elsewhere once we have a basic version running
