Environmental impact

This proposed project will study the amount of carbon dioxide that is being released into the environment in order to produce one xo laptop. This project will be beneficial to anybody who is concerned about their their impact on the earth or anybody looking to improve the laptops environmental sustainability.

NECESSARY MATERIALS

• 1 xo laptop
• 1 computer/laptop for research

TIMELINE

• Day 1-4: Take apart a xo laptop and take note of parts and the countries in which they were manufactured
• Day 5-9: Research(on computer) for an estimate of the pounds of co2 produced (based on distance traveled and transportation method) I am not sure about this step
• Day 10-15: Conclude research and write results (including a bibliography)
• Day 16-???: Possibly teach kids about what I learned?????????
