Objectives
- Ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of OLPC, eKindling, and the program
- Set appropriate expectations for the educators, administrators, parents, and all other stakeholders involved in the project
- Gain understanding of the cultural implications of an XO rollout in Lubang
- Gather relevant information regarding school and the community (enrollment rates, no. of internet cafes in the community, etc.)
- Begin to assemble Lubang support team
- Get to know the community!
Technical:
1. Identify infrastructure needs regarding power, connectivity, school server etc.

Education:
- Identify potential educators for XO Deployment
- Determine appropriate grade level for program
- Conduct baseline surveys to determine knowledge-level of educators and students regarding learning technologies in classrooms.
- Determine teaching methodologies adopted by Lubang educators through class observations, interviews, etc.

Wednesday, 25 November
- 7:00 AM Arrival at Tilik, Lubang
- 7:30 Breakfast at JMS Residence
- 8:30 Meeting with Lubang OLPC Team (MCTC Hall)
Introduction, Description of OLPC Program in Lubang
- 10:00 Meeting with all ES Principals and OLPC-Involved Teachers of Grades 4,5 & 6 of LIS/Maligaya ES at LIS Compound
- 12:00 NN Lunch at Binacas Kiosk, Brgy. Binacas
- 3:00 PM Presentation of OLPC Program to LIS/Maligaya ES Faculty & PTCA, Poblacion Plaza
Thursday, 26 November

Friday, 27 November
8:00 AM ETD, Port of Lubang for Calatagan, Batangas via M/B God’s Grace and private vehicle to Manila
