Nigerian children

After the first 6 months of our Nigerian classroom trial near Abuja, we invited the teachers and children to interview one another and generate stories about their town and history.

Later that year, we launched the Our Stories project with a website translated into 8 languages, including Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo. This was one of the most time-consuming parts of the whole affair! We are now beginning a 6,000 machine deployment elsewhere in-country, and the keyboard lawsuit that had partly hampered use of existing machines has been dismissed.

We should publish a story briefly mentioning the new deployment, with updated audio interviews, and linking to audio/videos/photos from the original pilot.
