PyGTK/PyDebug Status Snapshot Apr 30 2010
PyDebug Is Almost Usable
At this point (April 29,2010), PyDebug needs some real world testing. I have decided to spend the next month trying to use it to develop a PyGame application that mimics IPhoto, and makes photos stored in the Journal, and sorted into albums, available in a folder, and therefore available for uploading to social/networking sites via the Browse Activity.
The software is available at:http://git.sugarlabs.org/projects/pydebug
You can clone this repository with the following command: git clone http://git.sugarlabs.org/git/pydebug/mainline.git
The bug reporting url is: https://bugs.sugarlabs.org/newticket?component=PyDebug
The plan, going on into the future, would be to refine and improve PyDebug as I'm developing the XOPhoto.activity. Then, probably by July 1 or so, do a string freeze, and start wider distribution and Beta testing, working towards final release around Sept 1, 2010.
