Socialcalc Activity

Description:

SocialCalc is a JavascriptJavaScript-based spreadsheet being developed as a Sugar activity by Dan Bricklin, Luke Closs, Manusheel Gupta and K.S. Preeti for the XO, with help from Social Text among many others.

How did you do the testing?

• This is similar to MS Excel.
• I tested main functions giving some input data
• This is not available in OS B5 series
• When updating the new version of the SocialCalc, first has to erase the previous version.

What kind of problems that you had to face?

• No proper understanding about some functionality, due to lack of information available.
• As a solution, went through the WIKI, Google mailing list to clarify those functionalities as possible.
• The menus are not clear in XO1.5 as in XO1.0
