I've used polipo and found it very unreliable, even just for a home network. This was to get support for IPv6. I've since started using the experimental IPv6 branch of Squid 3 and found it much more reliable. -- AndrewRuthven

I don't have any experience with the olpc xo laptop, but as I understand it it uses a browser based on gecko? would it be possible to save the browser cache into a compressed clustered file system? -- DanielWaterworth (da.waterworth AT googlemail.com)
