Tiny Core Linux/Save Journal

Ingredients

• a USB drive,
• a collection of XO laptops, unsecured,

Recipe

Setup

• download http://dev.laptop.org/~quozl/tinycore/save-journal-2014-08-07.zip
• unpack or expand the file onto the USB drive,

Backups

For each XO laptop in the collection:

• shutdown the laptop,
• insert the USB drive,
• turn on the laptop,
• wait for the laptop to turn itself off, (under a minute),

Analysis

Copy the backup files from the journals directory on the USB drive.
