I'm initially interested in getting a usable Java environment onto the OLPC. I've done major rewrites to the Java page to this end, and I'm filing bugs and fixing problems, primarily in OpenJDK.

As a side-note, I successfully run my programming language/calculating tool [Frink] on my OLPC, (including an AWT GUI) although not as a full-fledged Activity. Frink tracks units of measure through all calculation and is designed for engineering, education, and understanding the physical world.
