I'm 24 and a student of digital media at Furtwangen University in Germany's black forest.

I haven't done any work on the OLPC project yet but I have followed the project for some time with interest and am about to start my bacholor thesis writing about OLPC School Server connectivity particulary in Latin America.

For my bachelor thesis I am about to start developing a software package that would run on the OLPC School Servers and automatically synchronize with a mobile server attached to a vehicle over WiFi to provide services such as:

• email storage and forwarding on the server
• provide a library of regularly updated content (magazines, newspapers, rss feeds etc etc..)
• etc..

I am only at a very early stage of my research and always looking for people to exchange ideas
