Hi Jeanne, welcome to the wiki :-) There is some browsing software that ICDL is preparing for the OLPC, but it will indeed need testing with their various books; and specific books of theirs which have copyright released will need to be viewed to see whether they read well with that software on the screns. Also, books from the ICDL should ideally have text-less versions that people can use or localization; again this needs to be updated (and sometimes requested from the original owner, as the first ICDL licensed did not allow translation) per book... I'd be glad to tell you more about how you could help out in that regard! Let me know if you have other questions about getting around this site.
