A couple months ago, during a series of requests Nicholas made for me to do laptop demos around the D.C. area, Walter suggested that the OLPC Learning Club should start a speaker's bureau. I personally will make myself to do demos and appearances as much as I am able and I am sure Wayan will do the same. Between us, we have visited NGOs, non-profits, local school systems, embassies, and congressional offices. Going forward, I'd like to maintain a list here on the wiki of Learning Club members who want to make themselves available to do presentations, share between us the presentation resources and log presentations made (at those that can be mentioned publically). Thoughts? --[[User:Mikelee|Mike Lee]] 17:46, 28 April 2008 (EDT) |
