The OLPC software stack is made up of various packages.

* The XO primarily uses [[olpc-update]] to update to a new [[builds|build]]. This effectively does a mass package update to everything in the new build.

* It also provides the standard [[rpm]] and [[yum]] Linux package managers.

* There is also the [[xo-get]] script to install additional [[activities]].

These are all command-line tools.
