I downloaded the NET Bible (the one the smoke test page suggests downloading). It neither appeared in /home/olpc/Library as a directory, nor did it show up in the sidebar, which I checked by closing all Browse sessions and re-opening Browse. I also tried closing Browse, 'resuming' the .xol file through the Journal, and then checking /home/olpc/Library and the sidebar on the browser's start page, but it still didn't work then.

What library bundle did you try to download and install? How did you confirm it didn't appear in your library sidebar from the browser's start page?
