This repair center is only active during the school year.
Introduction
This is a Repair center run by the Olin university chapter (main contact person is Nikki Lee). The initial brainstorming for the Olin repair center can be found at Olin university chapter/Repair center. This pilot is being run loosely in conjunction with 1cc.
Process
- XO owners will contact the repair center and state their problem
- Members of the repair center will assess the problem and contact the XO owner
- XO owner will ship XO to Olin (address will be provided by repair center contact)
- any parts needed will be purchased by the XO owner and shipped to Olin
- the XO and parts will be cataloged by the repair center and XOs will be repaired with parts ordered by their owners
- note: make sure that parts do not get mixed up!
- fixed XOs will be tested for functionality
- XO owner will have a prepaid shipping label sent to the repair center
- repaired XOs will be shipped back to their owners
