The following keyboard layout files were available in Debian Linux Testing as of Nov. 1, 2006. New software is introduced into Debian Unstable, then moved to Testing when no major bugs are evident, then to Stable when it has been thoroughly tested and fixed. Note that Debian Linux supports more writing systems than Windows XP Pro.
There are three groups of files in this table:

These keyboards support all modern writing systems except Mongolian Traditional alphabet.
