== Office hours? ==

Are you folks going to be coming in for regular office hours this year again? I'd like to set up an evening time so that university chapters in the area can come in; I was thinking either Wednesday nights, or both Tuesday and Thursday evenings (to give people more options). Let me know so I can figure out my workin' schedule and be there to let people in. [[User:Mchua|Mchua]] 14:37, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

== Design Challenge ==
Initial ideas:
Give people a bunch of groups the same task (i.e. on the level of specificity: make a game that teaches addition) and 24 hours to design and program. Programs could then be refined more gradually and possibly merged with each other to produce a final product

This would occur between finals and expo, so that people presumably have some time (I think?) and so that post-work could take place over winter break, when people also presumably have some time.

Can we do this, say, every other week? (yifan)

I think doing it between finals and expo, or other times that are free is a great idea! (colin)

I wasn't going to talk to the Wired professor, I was going to talk to the Software Design professor. I don't want to edit the notes though. GregMarra 11:13, 2 September 2007 (EDT)

distributed sensors + weather

Love the idea of distributed sensors + weather. Measure can partly support what is intended to be done (take sensor input, log it) but the sharing part is yet to be implemented...--Arjs 15:17, 14 November 2007 (EST)

Design Challenge

Initial ideas: Give people a bunch of groups the same task (i.e. on the level of specificity: make a game that teaches addition) and 24 hours to design and program. Programs could then be refined more gradually and possibly merged with each other to produce a final product

This would occur between finals and expo, so that people presumably have some time (I think?) and so that post-work could take place over winter break, when people also presumably have some time.

Can we do this, say, every other week? (yifan)
