- A long-standing initiative of the Latin American countries, the Inter-American Development Bank was established in 1959 as a development institution with novel mandates and tools. Recently it hosted the IX Hemispherical Meeting of the Education Network ONE-To-ONE Computing Models - an inter-ministerial conference on education.
Among its documents (there are many others - just happened to stumble on this one, will try to put in some later) is
- Technical Evaluation of the OLPC Hardware by Laercio Aniceto Silva of the Fundação CERTI.
A very interesting section is on Education.
