Wacom
BTW I updated setupwacom.sh on the Colors! page, it should actually work now and install everything needed to use the tablet under 8.2.0.
LOL, thanks for the addtl screen shot. http://dev.laptop.org/~wadeb/Colors!-12.xo - should perform a bit better on your tablet.
- Nice catch re: the trackpad, I didn't notice. wade 03:10, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
New icons
Colors! is updated with the new icons, will get the others done soon. wade 00:54, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
CodeRing icon proposal looks great, nicely done. Re: background svg, if you want to, just make a full screen SVG with cutouts for edit boxes, and I'll make the code fit to it. wade 03:10, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
image deleted
I deleted the turtle-activty-3.0.svg at your request. AuntiMame 13:54, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
design gang proposal
I've posted a proposal for image upload file structure and categorization. OLPC:Design_gang/proposed_file_structure AuntiMame 14:44, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Activity XO files
Typing Turtle Touch Typing trainer with a turtle mascot. First of all, needs an activity icon, feedback about the looks in general. There is also a lot more art needed if you want to get involved - background screens, animations, etc.
- Icon proposal looks great to me, thanks! I like the keyboard styling.
Finance Simple version of Quicken aimed at kids (IE keep track of your soccer finances or whatever). Needs an activity icon, also suggestions about the overall program look.
- Nice work on the icon! I think it's perfect - the "generic" depiction of coins and bills is great. Feel free to upload a SVG and I'll integrate it into the activity and post it to the wiki.
CodeRing Cryptography activity, for passing scrambled notes in class. Basically 3 edit boxes with an alphabet scrambling algorithm.
- BTW, for this activity what do you think about a background SVG? I could surround the input boxes with some blank space to show through to it. Thinking of something like a Sherlock Holmes hat or a Magnifying glass?
Yay! Bee See I ported this from a DHTML page posted last week. Still needs some performance work. I'm thinking maybe just an 'Aa' icon would do it?
Some more art
If you're still available to do icons I've got a couple more activities in the works.
Let me know and I'll get you some .xo files!
Cheers, Wade
Bounce icons
Awesome!!! Thanks a lot. I'll get a new version built right away. wade 21:04, 12 April 2008 (EDT)
FYI- Posted Bounce-5.xo with your icons today. Thanks again. wade 09:57, 22 April 2008 (EDT)
Hey, thanks a lot for the Colors icons! I'll post a new bundle.
Have you got a .svg version of the updated icon? Thanks. wade 23:17, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
