Assessment

Scope: There is music from a lot of different countries/cultures. No explicitly "kids" music, but many tags like "world", "ambient", "jazz", ... could work.

Completeness: 5 first songs to be chosen on 8/2/08

Multilingualism: English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish. Also testing: Swedish, Russian, Czech.

Quality: Mel: "Very good!"

Freeness: Various CC licenses selected by individual artists. We can ask the artists to switch some tracks to a BY-SA license if they don't have it already.

How to Add

On Jamendo: To label a playlist for the OLPC, add "OLPC" (no quotes) before its name. For instance : a playlist titled "OLPC music from Kenya" would make that playlist into a file for the OLPC library.
