''OLPCO2e'' was a proposed project to somehow associate OLPC with electronic CO2 certificates - since the XO laptops are some of the lowest-power and greenest laptops around. The proposal mentioned the names of many distinguished global initiatives, including the second UN Millennium Development Goal.
We come in from [[OLPCO2e link Agenda 21]] - the Plan of Action to help Humanity make it beyond the year 2100 with as many as possible, Section IV: Means of Implementation / Bringing money from the Low Carbon Economy transition to the citizen/consumer/your organization.


No concrete connections between OLPC and these certificates was made, and the project was abandoned in mid-2009. This page is kept for historical purposes.
