Nice idea for competitive games. Have you ever designed such for classes? [[User:Sj|Sj]] [[User talk:Sj|talk]] 23:13, 18 July 2007 (EDT)

In fact I learned algebra at 9th grade at Mexico with a teacher that used to divide the blackboard among the columns of seats in the classroom, and we played races: first student would take a card with a problem, and solve it in the blackboard, if wrong, second student would pass to solve it, otherwise, 2nd. student would take another card to solve it, etc. first column to end wins. Of course we would help the weak members of the column to study at home, so he would not hurt our performance.
I have a preliminary design of a game called "Merchants", in which the teams navigate sailing ships, in the world (learning geography in the process) attacking each other with questions which must be solved by an random member of the defending team, to earn "goods tokens" that must be managed in a sort of business simulation sense to reach an objective, and earn "silver stars" (play currency) that can be used to buy objects donated by local celebrities.
