I am worried that we have three different places with info on this: Boston_pilots, Cambridge_Friends_School_Pilot, and ILXO_Boston_Pilot, plus some of the related talk pages. We need to pick one place for all the info to live and streamline it, as more and more people want to reference that which we are doing/have done. -- ScottSwanson 16:25, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

:: +1 to ScottSwanson. I would personally go with Cambridge_Friends_School_Pilot, linking that as an example from Boston pilots, and make ILXO_Boston_Pilot a redirect to Cambridge_Friends_School_Pilot. Mchua 17:48, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Too many places
Scott--I couldn't agree with you more. I happened upon your page by following a link in an email on one of the mailing lists and slowly working my way through links until I got to your Cambridge_Friends_School_Pilot page. Essentially, I got lucky.

I live in Somerville, but am the technical and infrastructure project manager for a small deployment in eastern Nigeria. I have been volunteering at OLPC for over a year now and have been pushing for a central area for deployments to be tracked so that we can all find each other and collaborate.

This mechanism (a section of the wiki) was recently created.

Would you be willing to move this page to the deployments section, or at least create a deployment page linking to all of your content?

It's a 10 minute exercise, and can be accomplished here:

http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Deployments/

Let me know what you think!

Best,
Dan

Too many places?

I am worried that we have three different places with info on this: Boston_pilots, Cambridge_Friends_School_Pilot, and ILXO_Boston_Pilot, plus some of the related talk pages. We need to pick one place for all the info to live and streamline it, as more and more people want to reference that which we are doing/have done. -- ScottSwanson 16:25, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
