- Request: 25 XOs Duration: 9 months Completion: 5%
- We have a tri-lingual school in the traditional city of Fez, Morocco. The majority of students are Moroccan, 160 in all. We would train our teachers to use them for a period of two months. Then do a project with our multi-lingual 5th grade students in which we teach them to harvest information off the internet and use this information for a world cultures fair or other appropriate presentation. This would be an 8 month project and we would give extensive feedback.

Educational toolkit#Zubair Assad

- Submitter: Zubair Assad (talk · contribs) Request: 1 XO Duration: 4 months Completion: 60%
- i would like to use the laptop to have an hands on experience while i am on my project. It would also give me more time to work on the project. Beside the mobility, i would also use it as a motivational tool to inspire my friends and colleagues who are oblivious to open source and OLPC to take up open source projects.
Comments
- More information would be handy -- there are already 3 people associated with ths project who've applied for an XO. Do they all get one? Has there been significant development of the toolkit recently? It would be easier of the Ed Toolkit organizer [whoever is supplying updates on its progress] submitted requests for a team; what would individual updates from 3 different people look like? --Sj talk
Israeli-Palestinian classes
- View PfR) (
- Submitter: guysoft (talk · contribs) Request: 30 MP machines to replace B2s Duration: 6 months
- wants a B2 upgrade for 30 machines, is already running a project with 30 B2s.
- Ambivalent. This project needs newer information; do they have to wait until the end of term now? Guy has talked about wanting to get 100 for the next phase. 30 XOs for a school project is more than we've ever done. Would this directly help other projects in the region? --Sj talk 00:00, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
