Palaver Project

Liberia!Now has five channels that it is focusing on: Education, Infrastructure, Economic, Health, and Spirtual. Through the education channel, we hope to improve the community's schools through various projects. Liberia!Now is developing a project to put XO laptops into schools in Lower Virginia right outside of Monrovia, Liberia. We'll be embarking on a trip to Liberia on October 14-21, 2009. We'll be meeting with several school, the Ministry of Eduction and USAID to look at possibilities in improving the education in Lower Virginia.

We received two XO laptops. One each for the two educational point people: Kathy Puente in the United States and Prince KoiKoi in Liberia. Using these two laptops to present to the community in Liberia and to possible stakeholders in the United States, we hope to generate interest in enhancing the educational system through technology.
