si bien la laptop no es el objetivo en sí de la OLPC, es un componente fundamental—tanto a nivel de hardware como de software; pero sobre todo como el vehículo capaz de actuar como intermediario y facilitador para todo lo que queremos que hagan los chicos.

Por el momento, una buena parte del esfuerzo (tanto comunitario como de la OLPC se encuentra embarcado en armar la infraestructura tecnológica capaz de crear dicho vehículo.
