Dear Educators,

We've been in touch with each of you about ideas for activating our educator community in the One Laptop per Child project (OLPC) -- Thank you so much for your help and interest! With pilot programs currently underway in Nigeria, Peru, Uruguay, and Brazil, we're ready to get started!

To help support the teachers who are using OLPC laptops in their classrooms, we'd like to expand the presence of educators on the OLPCWiki-- that is to say, you.

We've been working on an "Educational Organization" template for groups involved in the OLPC project-- a way for groups to identify their interests and expertise-- and we'd love for you to try it out. Please add yourself to the OLPCWiki by:

  1. Create an account on the OLPCWiki and
  2. Follow these instructions to create a page for your organization:

Then, tell us what you think! (You can also write back with wiki questions-- we'll be happy to help you out!)

Thank you so much -- your participation will be invaluable as more and more children around the world begin learning with their laptops.
