EKindling Incorporated was registered at the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-profit corporation on May 21, 2010. eKindling continues to collaborate closely with local government units and corporate and individual benefactors on several OLPC deployments. Formerly the Philippine Collaborators for OLPC (PCOLPC), the group have merged with the CHILD (Children Helping in Information and Learning & Development) OLPC Foundation Philippines (COFP). COFP was registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-profit corporation on August 17, 2009. A key partner of COFP is Stimulus Capital Ideas, a cross border investment group headed by Charles Chen which specialises on Australian investments to the Philippines. A recent project is the partnership with the Kiwanis Club International in a pilot with three public schools in the Antipolo, Rizal province. Current efforts are being made to establish similar projects in other part of the country as well as in other member countries of ASEAN.

This project is the "Pilot Launch" project for OLPC Philippines.


For 2012, another pilot has been organised by the CHILD OLPC Foundation Philippines (formerly PCOLPC) in Antipolo, Rizal province in partnership with the Kiwanis Club. Three public schools are the intended beneficiaries of this pilot which potentially will require as much as 750 XO laptops to be deployed.
This project will be the start of the Pilot Distribution, orders will start from 250 XO machines upto a 100,000 order and then to 250,000.


Interested parties wanting to participant or help support this project please go to our webpage [[PCOLPC|COFP]] for contact. We are currently soliciting donations in support of this pilot.
This project will take orders of school upon approval of OLPC and recognition of government to OLPCPH. As noted the price of XO machine will be almost the same. OLPCPH will be the single point of contact and should be the one to have developer key and activation will be done in OLPCPH office. We won't tolerate any black market to occur.
